I learned throughout this weeks lectures that medicine technology can truly be an amazing art. The appreciation I have for how medicine can be art. For example, X-rays, cat scans, and MRI's that is true art in medicine technology.
The technology that have allowed us to see what is inside the human body and how it works, is amaze to what we had to do no more then 100 years ago, all at a microscopic level. No one truly sees the beauty of the body when looking at an X-ray or medicine that can help the human body in todays society.
What Virgil Wong, talked about how he uses the body as his paintings, is that he can use the internal part of the body and use it and the evidence of for example of a smoker. What the smoker could be at from age 20 to age 40.

I also learned and believed that the art of medicine such as plastic surgery and the technological aspects which people you that can alter there appearance. Some people might think that the medicine technology such as plastic surgery is Art, but its absolutely disgusting in my opinion, to an extent. I understand burns, or scar tissues, but to alter your appearance that isn't art its destroying art of your body. For example, Stelarc would hang himself by hooks to see his skin transform and also his third ear on his arm.
According to Stelarc, the ear project is not meant to be shocking, but rather it: “Brings into question notions of the wholeness of the body and also confronts society's cultural perceptions of life with the increasing ability to manipulate living systems.” It shows the true genius and prosperity in which someone can use the technology art of medicine to use against todays society to different peoples perception of life.
